NetBotz environmental is a family of network-accessible appliances that detect and
alarm on environmental factors which threaten or impact the availability of your
network-critical physical infrastructure. Scalable from small wiring closets to large
data centers to enterprise-wide deployments, the modular design allows for sensor
configuration and easily integrates third-party sensors to accommodate specific
monitoring needs from temperature and humidity to chemicals and radiation.
User-defined alerts can be sent in a variety of formats and easily integrated into
event-escalation policies. The NetBotz line includes rack appliances and wall
appliances with built-in surveillance camera and video functionality. Rack access
control also is integrated into the 455, 550 and 570 products.
• A single interface for surveillance, environmental monitoring and rack
access control
• Key integrated sensors include temperature, humidity/dew point, airflow
and audio
• Third-party sensor support for monitoring fluid, gas, vibration and dust particles
• Monitors physical "vital signs" of network and computer equipment via IPMI
or SNMP
• Notification of critical issues via mobile phones (SMS), Web applications (HTTP
Post), e-mail and SNMP
